Sometime later, Victis is awakened by Ultimis Richtofen, who informs them of Dr. Richtofen secures the Victis crew in Cryopods inside his lab under Alcatraz, for use later when he needs them. The group then retrieves the Element 115 shard and enters a new portal summoned by Primis Richtofen. One of the results of experiment nearly kills her when Russman regains sense and saves her. Misty is nearly killed by Russman as he goes on a wild killing spree, his memory flashing in and out. As the group attempts to restore power, Russman remember the biological experiments that remain within the area, which then appear and surround them. Undead Richtofen travels through the portal with the zombie horde and chases them down. They arrive at a Broken Arrow research facility in 1996, where Russman begins to have flashbacks of his past involvement. As the swarm draws closer, Stuhlinger asks for help, to which Richtofen opens a portal for the group to enter. Stuhlinger hears Primis Richtofen in his head, stating it's the next step in the evolution for the undead. Misty shoots at the undead Richtofen, and is stunned when he dodges her bullets. However, they are being tracked by an undead Ultimus Richtofen during their refuge, with his identity being unknown the the group. Misty and the others are then teleported to an unknown city where they seek refuge.
Maxis reveals his corruption from being in the Dark Aether, and banishes Richtofen's soul to a zombie, and begins to destroy the Earth to reach Agartha. Here, Maxis and Richtofen continued to give the survivors instructions to activate the third tower under Maxis's request. The day after, the survivors proceeded to "the rift", and ended up in an underground Western town. They set up camp in the desert, planning what to do next. Again, they activate the pylon under the order of Maxis, which ends with both Richtofen and Maxis ceasing contact for a year, which leads Misty and the rest of the group to wander the Earth. Here, Maxis and Richtofen continued to give the four survivors instructions to activate another tower within Shanghai. However, Richtofen would then rewind the events, so that the group could carry out his tasks. After witnessing Russman being killed by a Jumping Jack, Misty, Marlton and Stuhlinger continued to defend themselves until they were killed as well. However, Stuhlinger starts hearing Richtofen's voice in his head, telling him to activate the tower with his own methods for unknown purposes.Īfter the device was activated under the request of Maxis, the group was teleported by Richtofen to a skyscraper in Shanghai, China. Ludvig Maxis, and were instructed to activate the Pylon, as part of his plan to deal with Edward Richtofen's forces of the undead. The four survivors were then contacted by Dr. The two fought against zombies in a town in Hanford, until they were picked up by Russman and Samuel J. At some point, she met Marlton Johnson, who she began to develop a crush on. Her mother died of unknown causes, while her father was killed by zombies. Not much is known about Misty's past, other than she used to live on a farm. She has freckles, and cuts and scratches on her bare stomach. She is a brunette and wears her hair in a short ponytail down the back, covered by her white and green baseball cap. She also wears a belt with magazine pouches on it. The audience for a Marvel game is a lot broader than God of War, so it seems like there's a solid chance of that happening, but only time will tell.Misty wears a red flannel shirt tied in the front over a black bra, ripped and faded jeans, brown work gloves and brown combat boots that rise halfway up her shins. Given that game shattered all kinds of sales records and achieved critical acclaim, it seems like something PlayStation is hoping to release with Spider-Man. We got a reveal trailer back in 2021, but have had total silence outside of a release window announcement since then. The developer has chosen to have very limited marketing in the lead up to launch. or it could be covering up the fact that Insomniac would've rather him said nothing at all. Confusingly, he said on Twitter that there is still "tons" of work to do, which could've been a joke. Lowenthal revealed in a Reddit AMA that he has finished up all of his voice over and motion capture for Marvel's Spider-Man 2, which would likely indicate the game is in its final stretch of development.
